Extension of the life expectancy of the economic use of cows and their lifelong productivity is an important component of the genetic improvement of dairy cattle. Our research determines the life expectancy and productive longevity and the lifelong productivity in Holstein breed cows of German and Ukrainian breeding. For the duration of life and economic use the imported cows were slightly inferior to the animals of Ukrainian selection. The difference was 43.8 and 30.6 days, respectively. At the same time, they had a small unproductive period and the age of the first calving was 806.7 days, which is 13.1 days less than at the same age in the Holstein breed of Ukrainian breeding.

However, according to indicators of lifetime productivity, the imported cows dominated Ukrainian breeding animals. By life long milk yield, the advantage number was 574 kg of milk, but the difference was unlikely. According to the lifetime of milk fat and milk protein indicators the best cows were imported Нolstein cows.

For such signs as milk yield for one day, milk yield of economic use for one day, the number of used lactation and the coefficient of economic use all these best developed indicators were established in the Holstein cows of German selection. Their advantage, respectively, was 0.9 kg (P> 0.95); 1.5 kg (P> 0.99); 0.1 pc and 0,7% in comparison with cows of the Holstein breed of Ukrainian breeding.

A comparative correlation analysis has established a different level and direction of connections in cows of the Holstein breed of German and Ukrainian breeding. It is logical to have a highly reliable positive high level of life expectancy connection between the life expectancy, the length of economic use and the signs of lifelong productivity. So, this is typically for both imported animals and for Ukrainian breeding cows. This indicates at the possibility in breeding the extension of life expectancy and economic use of dairy cattle of Holstein breed and improving lifelong productivity.

Evaluation of flow-shop system of milk production

The result of the analysis by the technological cards and sequence movement is established that cows are distributed into the technological groups by physiologically technological periods and placed in appropriate shops: the cows which had the calf, milking and artificial insemination, production of milk, persistent to moister cows.
It is established that cows of the experimental group have advantages by the level of milk productivity. For the same duration of lactation period it was received from them for 907 kg (P>0,999) more milk in the first lactation period than from animals of the controlled group. At the same time, the firstborn of the experimental group is dominated by the amount of milk fat and milk protein. The difference compared to peers in the controlled group was 32.6 kg (P>0,999) and 27.4 kg (P>0,999). Cows of the experimental group are characterized by the more stable lactation curve compared to the animals of the research group.
It was found that the cows which gave birth at first in the experimental group showed up the highest daily milk production in the third month of lactation (42.8 kg) and after moving these cows to a milk production department, its amount began to decrease quickly. We see a different tendency in the animals of the experimental group. The extended period of their staying in the shop of the first milking and insemination helps to maximize the productivity of dairy cattle of the Holstein breed. They showed up the highest daily milk production in the fourth month of lactation (43.5 kg) and their milk amount gradually decreases, which led to a high level of milk production.
The results of the study proved that distributing of cows by physiological status into technology groups and keeping them in their relevant departments according to the flow-shop system allows unifying the operating conditions of dairy cattle according to their biological needs. It was established that the duration of staying cows in the shop of the first milking and insemination up to 180-200 lactation days helps to maintain a high level of milk productivity in animals and to increase total production.

Correlative changeability of selective signs of suckling cattle Holstein breed

In the selection of suckling cattle are widely used phenotypical and genetic cross-correlation connections between the signs of productivity, determination of which allows using them for intensification of breeding process.
By comparative analysis it was set that all investigated signs are characterized by the positive correlation of low degree and only the content of fat in milk was the negative coefficient of correlation (r = – 0,17 P>0,95). About the change in the character of interdependence which arisen under influence of selection is characterized the coefficient of correlation between the amount of mothers’ milk protein and an amount of milk protein of their daughters (r = 0,17 P>0,95).
In the process of selection negative correlation was diminished between yield and content of protein in milk. This, for the I GEР the coefficient of correlation was – 0,16 (P>0,95), and in the ІІ GEP his value was only – 0,07 (P<0,95). It was established the positive connection between the content of fat and protein in milk, although the size of correlation is more in the second genetic-ecological generation (r = 0,21 P>0,99).
So, it is proved the connection between content of protein in milk yield of mothers and daughters was higher in the group of the most productive mothers (r = 0,35 P>0,99). It is found that greater coefficients of correlation was set between the yield of mothers and yield of daughters, between an amount of milk protein of mothers and their daughters in the group of less productive mothers (r = 0,29 P>0,99 and r = 0,29 P>0,99 accordingly).
Thus it was determined the presence of connection between the signs of the suckling productivity in the animals of Holstein breed in two genetic-ecological generations. The investigated signs are characterized by the different values of coefficients in correlation and strength of connection.

Features of the large commodity farms and their impact on the agrarian market of Ukraine

The results of investigations of slaughter steer s qualities of specialized dairy breeds, reared with a high body weight at 13 months of age are given. It was found that intensive fattening with full-homogeneous mixture (FHM) contributes to the manifestation of high meat productivity in young dairy breeds. Slaughter yield in bulls studied species was 54,7-56,9%.

The infl uence of ruminant processes on milk production of different cows’ breeds

The results of the study of ruminations processes’ features at cows of fi rst lactation are given. It was revealed that in the equal footing and feeding conditions of cows of Holstein breed it is dominated the duration of the chewing cows of Ukrainian black and white and red and white dairy breeds.
