Pig productivity’s increase through the compatibility of cross parental pairs in two-way crossing

The aim of our studies was to assess the production traits of pigs and determine the compatibility effect of cross parental pairs.
We used thoroughbred pigs ♀LWx♂LW (control) and cross animals of the following variants of crossbreeding: ♀ LWx ♂ L, ♀D x ♂P), and ♀P x ♂D).
The article presents the results of evaluating production traits in pigs and determines the level and effect of compatibility of parental pairs. It registers the lowest thickness of pork fat (16.25 mm) and the highest loin eye area (40.33 см) in pigs of the ♀ P x♂ D combination.
The index of meat and fattening traits (IMFT) in ♀P x ♂D animals was 64.26 points, which was significantly (by +29.98 points) higher than in thoroughbred pigs of the control group (34.28 points), and by +20.34 points and +4.26 points higher than in pigs of ♀ LWx ♂ L and ♀D x ♂P groups, respectively. The highest compatibility effect was in ♀D x ♂P animals (152.09 %). ♀D x ♂P pigs showed better fattening traits and index assessment values. ♀ P x♂ D animals were better by slaughter characteristics.
The best cross variants ♀D x ♂P і ♀ P x♂ D were determine through  valuation of compatibility of  cross parental pairs for getting  fattening complex of offspring and  meat quality of young landed with high performance.
In the future, it is planned to conduct a study of the efficiency of cross parental pairs in different variants of multi-way crossing.
